'O: A House Installation' 1995 Houston TX

An abandoned cottage in Houston is converted into a magical camera
obscura after months of reconfiguring the structure. Artists Dean Ruck and Dan Havel and I created this special project with funding from the Cultural Arts Council, Texas Accountants and Lawyers for the Arts, and many individual donors.

 

Thousands of Houstonians visited this installation during its short life before it was torn down by the neighborhood developer.
